The reasons many undertake a full scale frame off restoration are varied. Starting with an excellent rust free car, both the body and frame were stripped down to bare metal. The body then had a beautiful coat of dark blue paint skillfully applied from top to bottom which was later completely wet sanded and polished to a show quality finish. The chassis was carefully reassembled and detailed along with the flathead V8 engine with a higher level of care than any of these cars received when new. Where the true quality of this car comes from the level of craftsmanship seen in the details; the doors close and seal with ease, the wood trim on the window sills and dash are perfectly finished, the Ford logos on the glass, restored and detailed gauge cluster, the chrome and brightwork see throughout and the solid feel the car has when being driven. This car truly is an incredible example, one which you would be hard pressed to replace due to the quality and craftsmanship of the restoration.
